Shilajit price per gram is the total price you pay divided by the net grams in the pack. Our four packs come to GBP 0.80 per gram for 1 pot (30 g) at 24.00, GBP 0.53 for 3 pots (90 g) at 48.00, GBP 0.48 for 5 pots (150 g) at 72.00 and GBP 0.40 for 10 pots (300 g) at 120.00.
These figures use the pack prices for Satiovex Himalayan Shilajit Resin, set in pounds sterling (GBP); your local currency shows at checkout.

Shilajit resin price per gram: the working for each pack
Price per gram = price you pay ÷ net grams in the pack. Round to the nearest penny. The table shows each step, so you can repeat it for any pot or pack.
| Pack | Grams | Price (GBP) | Working | Per gram (GBP) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 pot 30 g | 30 | 24.00 | 24.00 ÷ 30 = 0.80 | 0.80 |
| 3 pots 90 g | 90 | 48.00 | 48.00 ÷ 90 = 0.5333 | 0.53 |
| 5 pots 150 g | 150 | 72.00 | 72.00 ÷ 150 = 0.48 | 0.48 |
| 10 pots 300 g | 300 | 120.00 | 120.00 ÷ 300 = 0.40 | 0.40 |
The figure falls as the pack grows, because the price rises more slowly than the grams. Whether a bigger pack suits you depends on how long you would take to use it (see the days-per-pot method below).
What net weight means on a pot, and why grams beat pot counts
Net weight is the weight of the contents alone, without the pot, lid or wrapper. A weight-based net quantity statement, says the US FDA in chapter III of its Dietary Supplement Labeling Guide (April 2005), includes only the supplement, not the weight of the container, wrappers or packing materials. A parcel or shipping weight includes packaging, so it overstates what is inside.
Compare grams, not pots. One seller's pot might hold 20 g and another's 50 g, so "3 pots" means little until you know the grams. Servings have the same problem, because serving sizes differ between products. If a label shows ounces, multiply by about 28.35 to get grams.
Five things to check before you divide
- The net weight statement. Find the weight marked as contents and read its unit. Convert milligrams or ounces to grams first.
- Resin only, or additions. Read the ingredients list. If the pot lists anything besides shilajit, the net weight covers all of it, so the grams of resin are fewer than the grams in the pot. Divide by the resin grams if the label gives them.
- What the price includes. Add delivery, VAT and other taxes, and any import duties you will be charged. The EU Consumer Rights Directive requires distance sellers to state the total price inclusive of taxes and any additional delivery charges, and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (guidance updated 7 January 2026) says unavoidable charges such as delivery or VAT should normally be in the total price. Use your order total at checkout where you can.
- Currency. Compare in one currency. If prices are in different currencies, convert both at the same rate on the same day.
- The unit. Listings may show a price per 100 g or per kilogram. Divide a per-kilogram price by 1,000, or a per-100 g price by 100, to get a price per gram. The EU Price Indication Directive defines a unit price as the final price, including VAT and all other taxes, for one kilogram, one litre or one metre. Member states may waive it for some products, so a seller may show none.
How to compare two products of different sizes
Government guidance for Great Britain on the Price Marking Order (September 2025) says unit pricing helps consumers compare similar products sold in different sizes, and it notes exemptions, so you may have to calculate the figure yourself. Here is the method with two invented products (example, not a real product) and plain numbers in one currency.
| Item | Pot A (example) | Pot B (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Net weight | 20 g | 50 g |
| Listed price | 18.00 | 35.00 |
| Delivery charge | 0.00 | 12.00 |
| Total you pay | 18.00 | 47.00 |
| Per gram, listed price only | 0.90 | 0.70 |
| Per gram, total you pay | 0.90 | 0.94 |
- Write down the net grams of each pot: 20 g and 50 g.
- Add delivery, taxes and duties to each price: 18.00 and 47.00.
- Divide each total by its grams: 18.00 ÷ 20 = 0.90 and 47.00 ÷ 50 = 0.94.
- Compare the results. The lower figure is the lower cost per gram, and nothing more.
Pot B looks cheaper at 0.70 per gram until its 12.00 delivery charge is added; with it, Pot A costs less per gram. To run the same steps on our pots, the pack sizes and prices are on the product page. Comparing resin with capsules changes the unit, so it has its own method: see shilajit resin vs capsules.
How long does a 30 g shilajit pot last?
It depends on the serving printed on your pack, so this page cannot give you one number. Use the serving printed on your pack, follow its directions (our pot included) and do not exceed the recommended serving.
Days per pot = pot grams ÷ (grams per serving × servings per day)
If your pack prints milligrams, divide by 1,000: 1,000 mg is 1 g.
| Invented grams used per day | 1 pot 30 g | 3 pots 90 g | 5 pots 150 g | 10 pots 300 g |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.5 g | 60 | 180 | 300 | 600 |
| 1 g | 30 | 90 | 150 | 300 |
| 2 g | 15 | 45 | 75 | 150 |
These amounts are round numbers, not a serving for any product and not advice: replace them with the serving printed on your pack. If the pack gives a date mark or storage directions, check them against the day counts before buying a large pack.
Price per serving = price per gram × grams per serving. For Pot A at 0.90 per gram with an invented printed serving of 0.5 g, that is 0.90 × 0.5 = 0.45 (arithmetic example, not a recommendation). Serving sizes differ between products, so compare price per gram first.
What price per gram cannot tell you
It cannot tell you purity, origin, what else is in the pot or whether anything was tested. Price is not a quality signal: a lower price per gram does not mean lower quality, and a higher one does not mean higher quality. Two pots with the same net weight and price per gram can differ in every other way. Read the label itself, and see our shilajit resin buying guide for what else to check.
Shipping and the guarantee
Shipping is free and tracked. We ship to the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, Canada and Australia; availability for your country is shown at checkout. Who should consult a doctor first
This is a food supplement. It is not for under-18s. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on medication, consult a doctor first. Keep it out of reach of children, use it as directed on the pot, and do not exceed the recommended serving.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate shilajit price per gram?
Divide the total you pay by the net grams in the pack, in one currency and including delivery, taxes and duties if they are added. A 30 g pot at GBP 24.00 gives 24.00 ÷ 30 = GBP 0.80 per gram.
How long does 30g shilajit last?
Divide 30 by the grams you use per day, which comes from the serving and servings per day printed on your pack. This page does not set a serving; the table above shows the division with invented amounts.
What is the shilajit 30g price at Satiovex?
One 30 g pot is GBP 24.00, which is GBP 0.80 per gram. Prices are set in pounds sterling and your local currency shows at checkout. Shipping is free and tracked. Pack options are on the Satiovex shilajit resin product page.
Does a lower price per gram mean better quality?
No. Price per gram compares cost for the same weight. It says nothing about purity, origin or whether anything was tested, and a high price is not a quality signal either.
Do delivery and taxes change the price per gram?
Yes. In the Pot A and Pot B example, a delivery charge changes which pot is cheaper per gram. Add delivery, taxes and any import duties before you divide.

- No clinician reviewed this page. It is general information, not medical or legal advice.
- Satiovex products are sold by Xinop LLC, trading as Satiovex. We run this site and have a financial interest in the products.
