Below is the certificate of analysis for the magnesium bisglycinate raw material used in Satiovex NIGHT. We publish it in full, including the figures that are less flattering, because the alternative is asking you to take our word for it.

Read this first — what this document is and is not.
This is a manufacturer’s certificate of analysis for the raw ingredient: the magnesium bisglycinate powder that goes into the gummies, tested at batch level (5,000 kg). It is issued by the producer’s own quality assurance department, not by an independent third-party laboratory, and it is not a finished-product test of the gummy itself.
We are stating that plainly because the difference matters. A raw-material COA tells you the ingredient is what it claims to be, at the purity claimed. It does not, on its own, verify the finished gummy. Independent finished-product testing is on our roadmap and we will publish it here when it exists — we are not going to describe this document as something it isn’t in the meantime.
1. Physical & chemical identification
| Test parameter | Specification | Result | Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Appearance | White to off-white powder / fine granules | Conforms | Visual |
| Solubility | Soluble in water; practically insoluble in ethanol | Conforms | USP <641> |
| Identification (HPLC) | Retention time matches reference standard | Conforms | HPLC |
| Identification (IR / Mg) | Positive for magnesium & glycine | Conforms | FT-IR / USP <191> |
| pH (1% aq. solution) | 10.0 – 11.0 | 10.4 | USP <791> |
| Loss on drying | NMT 7.0% | 4.2% | USP <731> |
2. Assay & specific impurities
| Test parameter | Specification | Result | Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assay (magnesium glycinate) | 98.0% – 102.0% (dried basis) | 99.4% | Titration / HPLC |
| Elemental magnesium | 14.0% – 16.0% | 14.2% | ICP-OES |
| Free glycine | NMT 5.0% | 1.8% | HPLC |
| Chloride | NMT 0.1% | < 0.05% | USP <221> |
| Sulfate | NMT 0.2% | < 0.08% | USP <221> |
What the elemental figure means for your serving. The batch tested at 14.2% elemental magnesium. To deliver 100 mg of actual magnesium, a serving therefore needs roughly 704 mg of magnesium bisglycinate. That is why one serving is two gummies rather than one — the raw material simply does not fit into a single gummy at a size anyone would want to chew.
3. Elemental impurities (heavy metals)
| Element | Limit | Result | Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lead (Pb) | NMT 0.5 ppm | < 0.01 ppm | ICP-MS |
| Arsenic (As) | NMT 1.0 ppm | < 0.02 ppm | ICP-MS |
| Cadmium (Cd) | NMT 0.5 ppm | < 0.01 ppm | ICP-MS |
| Mercury (Hg) | NMT 0.1 ppm | < 0.005 ppm | ICP-MS |
4. Microbiological control
| Test | Limit | Result | Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total aerobic microbial count | NMT 1,000 cfu/g | < 10 cfu/g | USP <2021> |
| Total moulds & yeasts | NMT 100 cfu/g | < 10 cfu/g | USP <2021> |
| Escherichia coli | Absent in 10 g | Negative | USP <2022> |
| Salmonella spp. | Absent in 25 g | Negative | USP <2022> |
